Iran is slated to hold the 12th International Radio Festival and the 4th International Radio Forum in the northern province of Gilan. Representatives of 20 countries will attend the events along with a large number of Iranian participants. Several workshops and interviews are also set to be held on the sidelines of this international gathering. The International Radio Festival of Iran is the biggest event in the Middle East and North Africa that receives huge number of entries from radio stations and independent producers every two years from all around the globe. The festival provides participants with a great opportunity to express their creativity and imagination, interact with others from the radio world, and compete for the coveted trophy of the gala. Iran’s 12th International Radio Festival will be held from May 15 to 17, 2012. The festival’s winners will be honored in Tehran in the last week of May.
