
A rich programme has been developed for the celebration of the Heritage Month (April 18 – May 18) in the province of Adrar (1543-km southeast of Algiers), sources from the local arts centre said Sunday. The festivities' programme includes the organization of exhibitions, forums and artistic evenings, in collaboration with local associations and local tourism offices, the head of the Cultural Department at the local community arts centre, Mohamed Ser, has disclosed. The celebration will start with an exhibition of the tangible and intangible heritage in the region of Tidikelt, in the province's east, in collaboration with the office of tourism, the local administration of Timenktene and craft industry association "Basma." A similar exhibition is to be devoted to the region of Gourara, in the province's north, organized in collaboration with tourist association "El Wahet" and local song and old heritage association "Imdoukel."
