Algerian singer Souad Massi and French guitarist Eric Fernandez, forming a duo, “Choeurs de Cordoue,” will open the 2013/2014 music season of the Paris’ Arab World Institute (AWI) with a concert to be held next October 11, the Institute announced. Created in 2010, the duo has already performed in many music festivals in France, including the 25th festival of Martigues organized from July 22 to 25 and the 4th festival of “Jazz aux frontiers” of Montgenèvre in the Hates Alpes region, also held from 1 to 3 August 2013.
