
Nadine Shams, a scriptwriter, has died on Saturday 22 March following a health deterioration which her family blamed on a medical mistake occurring during an operation that she had days before. According to Al-Ahram Arabic news website, her husband, Nabil El-Qott, has filed a complaint demanding a forensic doctor to determine the cause of death. El-Qott accused the hospital of carelessness that led to Shams' death after a surgical mistake. Shams is a graduate of the High Cinema Institute, she wrote Ehna Etkabelna Abl Kida (We've met before) a 2008 film starring Egyptian actress Nelly Kareem. She also worked on the popular television series Moga Harra last Ramadan. Source: Ahram Online
