6.5-magnitude quake strikes central Indonesia

A 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the central Indonesian island of Sulawesi on Wednesday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake struck in the sea 122 kilometres (75 miles) southeast of the town of Modayag at 0246 GMT at a depth of 20 kilometres, though Indonesian officials did not issue a tsunami warning.
