Egypt's Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim condemned a bombing that targeted his convoy Thursday as a "cowardly assassination" bid, in comments to state television hours after the blast. Ibrahim said his convoy was targeted by "a bomb that exploded at a distance", wounding "many guards".
