Egypt's Sisi: If elected army will have no ruling role

Egypt's former army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the frontrunner in a new presidential election, said on Monday that if he was elected the army will have no role in ruling the country. Sisi is expected to win the May 26-27 election easily riding on a wave of popularity after he ousted in July Mohamed Morsi, Egypt's first freely elected president.
