France hoping for a 'solid' Iran nuclear deal

France hopes that world powers can reach a "solid" deal with Iran over its disputed nuclear programme, Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Thursday ahead of the latest round of talks in Geneva. "I hope we'll arrive at a solid agreement," Fabius told France 2 television hours before the negotiations were to start. "This deal will only be possible if it has a firm base."
