France, Italy budgets to pass EU review

The European Commission will approve the French and Italian 2015 budgets after both countries made last-minute changes to meet EU demands, EU sources said Tuesday.
"We have defused the crisis," one EU source said while another said "no budget will be rejected" following the measures announced by Paris and Rome to bring the budgets closer into line with European Union rules.
