France to deploy 3 more jets, warship, in IS fight

The French military said Wednesday it would deploy three more Rafale fighter jets as well as a warship to boost the fight against Islamic State jihadists in Iraq.
"The French equipment will thus be increased to nine Rafale" jets at the Al Dhafra base in the United Arab Emirates, from where the country has been launching air strikes in Iraq, said a military statement. The frigate will be deployed to the Persian Gulf.
