Hollande, Merkel arrive in Minsk for Ukraine peace summit

French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in Minsk Wednesday for a peace summit with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine aimed at halting ten months of conflict in Ukraine.
Merkel and Hollande touched down at Minsk airport ahead of the arrivals of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko, an AFP journalist at the scene said.
