An unprecedented operation to lift upright the giant Costa Concordia cruise ship will last until early Tuesday, far later than expected, the head of the civil protection agency overseeing the project said. "Absolutely yes," agency chief Franco Gabrielli said at a press conference when asked whether he thought the work could last until dawn on Tuesday, adding: "It's going to be a long night".
