Kerry: Putin can make the choices to end Ukraine war

US Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin can end the war in Ukraine as European leaders prepped a new peace plan to take to Moscow.
"President Putin can make the choices that could end this war," Kerry said after meeting Ukrainian leaders in Kiev, adding that the US backed a "helpful" peace plan German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande are expected to present to Putin on Friday.
