Poroshenko: Ukraine committed to peace plan

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday insisted that Kiev remains committed to a battered peace plan for the war-torn east despite controversial elections held by pro-Russian rebels.
"Ukraine remains a firm supporter of the peace plan," Poroshenko told a meeting of his security chiefs. However, "other participants" of the Russian-supported truce accord, are not meeting their obligations, he said.
