Rwanda's ruling party scores landslide in parliamentary poll

Rwanda's ruling party scored a landslide win in parliamentary elections, taking 76.22 percent of the vote, the Electoral Commission said Tuesday. Far behind came the Social Democrats with 13.03 percent and the Liberals with 9.29 percent respectively. No other party or independent scored more than 0.6 percent of the vote, the Commission's executive secretary Charles Munyaneza told a press conference.
