Tymoshenko starts hunger strike over Ukraine decision

Jailed Ukrainian opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko said Monday she would go on a hunger strike over the government's decision to scrap a key pact with the EU. "I am announcing an indefinite hunger strike demanding that (President Viktor) Yanukovych sign an association and free trade agreement with the EU," Tymoshenko was quoted by her party as saying.
