US: Kerry, Palestinian president Abbas meet Monday in London

US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Monday in London with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas to discuss direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians, the State Department said Thursday. Kerry, who has met with Abbas numerous times over the past five months, will next see him at the end of a September 6-9 trip that will also take him to Lithuania and France, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.
