The United States stands with the Ukrainians protesting for a future in Europe and the government should listen to the aspirations of its people, a senior US diplomat said in Kiev Thursday. "We stand with the people of Ukraine who see their future in Europe," Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said at the opening of an OSCE meeting in Kiev. She said the United States urges "the Ukrainian government to listen to the voice of its people."
