
Sudanese Investment Minister Mostafa Osman Ismail said that 100,000 feddans will be allocated to junior Egyptian farmers in Sudan.
Ismail was speaking in a reception for a visiting Egyptian delegation Sunday.
Each farmer will be given 10 feddans, he said during the event that was attended by several Egyptian investors and businessmen.
The volume of Egyptian investment in Sudan stands at 3 billion dollars and it is expected to increase to 11 billion dollars within the coming stage, Ismail added.
On the other hand, Chairman of Independence Current Ahmed Fadali, who is heading the delegation, asserted the importance of giving investment chances to Egyptian youth to invest in Sudan.
There is full solidarity between Egypt and Sudan in lifting to embargo imposed on its people, he added.
