
The 100th ministerial session of the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) will kick off on June 4 in Cairo.
The ministerial session, chaired by Iraq, will be preceded by a preparatory meeting at the level of deputy ministers.
CAEU Secretary General Mohammed Al Rabia announced that he will submit a report on the economic performance of the CAEU states.
The CAEU General Secretariat will present a number of studies on the project of developing and producing sugar crops and sugar production in the Arab world.
Also, the studies will include presenting the industrial Arab project for the application of modern Silica in the areas of power, communications and electronics industry.
A raft of joint Arab projects will be discussed in the CAEU session to achieve Arab economic integration in the Arab Textile Industries and ways of strengthening competitiveness, promoting integration among Arab countries in the fertilizers industry as well as upgrading logistics in the field of maritime and land transport in the Arab states.
