116,000 feddans to be reclaimed in Luxor as part of 1.5m feddan project

Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr said on Friday that 116,000 feddans will be reclaimed as part of a 1.5-million feddan project which is being carried out across Egypt.
The project will improve the economic conditions of citizens and help develop the governorate, establish new urban communities and provide job opportunities for youth, the governor said in statements.
It will also help export crops and carry out investments, he added.
