The 18th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian business council kicked off here Wednesday.
Leading the Egyptian delegation to the talks is Hussein Sabour, the Chairman of the Egyptian Businessmen Association.
Addressing the gathering, Sabour hailed as good the relations between Cairo and Amman.
Businesspeople here and in Egypt have very good ties as well, Sabour added.
"It is our duty to defend the interests of Jordanian businessmen in Egypt and we hope they defend ours in Jordan," Sabour said.
Egypt and Jordan share many ideas and interests, he noted.
The current session focuses on stock investment in Egypt and Jordan with the aim to revive the economies of both countries.
