
Some 200 national and foreign exhibitors will take part in the eighth international professional industry fair Algiers Industries 2014, to take place from 23 to 26 September at the Pins Maritimes Exhibition Centre in Algiers, the event's organizers said Wednesday.
The economic event, organized by Batimatec Expo in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Marseille Provence, France, is meant to "shed light on Algerian industries and the efforts undertaken for its development and reorganization."
The national exhibitors include eighteen major public economic companies.
The foreign participants include representatives of France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Austria and Egypt.
The main sectors taking part in the event, to be held over an area of more than 2,000 m², are industrial equipment, electricity, electronics, industrial security, protection of environment (Eco-Industry), subcontracting and services.
