3.2 m tons of local wheat received from farmers

About 3.2 million tons of local wheat were received from farmers until yesterday, said Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy.
The amount bought is 85% of the expected quantities to be received, he added in a statement issued by the Supply and Internal Trade Ministry on Wednesday.
The season of buying wheat from farmers begins in mid-April of each year and comes to an end in the final days of June.
