
The 43rd meeting of customs managers in North Africa, Near and Middle East kicked off Monday in the Arab League (AL) headquarters.
The meeting was chaired by the Bahrain Customs President Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Khalifa.
The get-together was attended by the secretary general of the World Customs Organization.
In statements on the sidelines of the meeting, the Bahraini official said that there is coordination with the World Customs Organization where about 60 workshops were organized to face the challenges witnessed by the region.
He further underlined that there are aspirations to develop the Arab abilities to increase the trade movement and promote cooperation with the region's countries.
