
Giza Governor Ali Abdel Rahman said on Thursday that 5,000 housing units will be established in El-Ayat village in southern Giza in 2015.
He said residential units will be constructed over an area of 160 feddans, the governor said.
He added that the move comes as part of a national project to set up one million housing units across the state.
Also, the governor revealed that the second phase of a national project to deliver 11,000 apartments to youths in the 6th of October city will be finalized during this year.
The third phase of the project will be established over an area of 97 feddans and will include 5,892 housing units, according to the governor.
