
The Directorate in the Civil Service Bureau (CSB)'s Resources Development Director Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said that the CSB in the January-August period provided training for more than 5,000 employees at a total cost of BD 3,700,000 according to the specific selection criteria.
He said that applicable mechanism adopted the definition of training programmes, needs for current or future jobs in each governmental department according to approved job requirements and budget.
And regarding criteria of selection of employees for training programmes, Shaikh Hama bin Isa Al Khalifa said that the programme should be under the training needs plan prescribed for the nominated employee and according to the actual needs for training in order to develop performance, behaviour, appraisal, positive tendencies at the workplace on the basis of the outcome of the employee appraisal system.
