The Palestinian Alfalah Benevolent Society in Gaza has inaugurated six new water wells, and three water coolers, as part of a 15-well project.
This is part of Alfalah water desalination plant worth USD one million, financed by the Kuwaiti-based Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).
The rest of the 15 wells will be opened over the coming days to provide water for more residential districts in Gaza, Alfalah Chairman Sheikh Ramadan Tanboura said in press statements.
He added that the digging of the six wells in schools and mosques, was financed by the AFESD.
Tanboura expressed appreciation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti government and people and the charitable societies in the country for their financial support to the Palestinian people in Gaza through Alfalah Society.
