
As many as 80 out of 127 buoys were fixed in the new Suez Canal Project area as there are 16 days till the project is launched, said Ahmed Farid, deputy director of the the dredging part of the Suez Canal project said on Monday.
Earlier, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said the dredging of the New Suez Canal will finish on Friday.
Ismailia Governor Yassin Tahir has inspected the progress achieved in the New Suez Canal project.
The New Suez Canal Project is due to be inaugurated on August 6.
There are 27 dredgers operating now at the three sectors of the project.
