Abbas congratulates Sisi on EEDC success

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the great success of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), which closed Sunday in Sharm El Sheikh.
In a cable to Sisi, Abbas said the event’s success reflects the world’s confidence in ‘your’ wise leadership and Egypt’s standing at the regional and international levels, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.
Abbas had participated in the conference’s first day on Thursday and delivered an address showing support for Egypt against its war against terrorism.
