Bloomberg and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the world’s newest international financial centre have signed an exclusive launch of partnership leveraging Bloomberg's new regionalised editorial platforms.
The partnership aims to widen the understanding of the business landscapes in the Middle East region across these new platforms, including a dedicated digital destination, original television programming and a major new conference in Abu Dhabi convening the Middle East’s most influential leaders in business and finance.
"Partnering with ADGM as we expand our coverage of the growing economies of the GCC and beyond will enable Bloomberg Media to enhance our role in the UAE’s dynamic business community," says Parry Ravindranathan, Managing Director, Bloomberg Media, EMEA and APAC. "Bloomberg’s new regionalised editorial platforms for the Middle East build on the success of localised properties launched in Europe and Asia in the last 12 months to offer our growing audience of influential business decision makers more relevant, engaging media channels and content."
"At ADGM, we believe that collaborations with like-minded partners will serve to better connect the various markets and support the business needs of companies in Abu Dhabi and the region. We welcome this partnership as Bloomberg is one of the leading global business and financial information and news networks. The joint initiatives will further enhance Abu Dhabi’s profile and relevance in the global business environment. This new development reinforces ADGM’s ongoing commitment to maintain a vibrant business environment for various stakeholders and companies to thrive," Dhaher bin Dhaher, CEO, Registration Authority, ADGM.
The centrepiece of the newly formed partnership is the association with the Bloomberg Markets Most Influential summit, with Abu Dhabi joining New York, London and Hong Kong as the latest international financial centre to host Bloomberg's premium annual event.
The annual conference franchise is at the centre of a multi-platform editorial initiative that leverages Bloomberg's unparalleled breadth of media resources, including print, digital, television and radio platforms, to bring one-of-a-kind conversations with newsmakers and financial leaders on the trends and opportunities framing the global economy. Bloomberg Markets Most Influential Abu Dhabi will convene the leaders and innovators shaping the future of finance in Abu Dhabi, the Middle East and beyond.
