
The Higher Education Council (HEC)'s Secretary-General Dr. Riyadh Yusuf Hamza met representatives of higher educational institutions and explored with them the academic accreditation scheme and other schemes launched by the Council, namely the strategies of higher education, scientific research and professionalism of teaching staff members.
Dr. Hamza listened to the views of representatives of higher educational institutions and their remarks regarding the academic accreditation scheme in order to be considered by the General Secretariat in the Council of Higher Education.
The representatives welcomed the enforcement of the academic accreditation scheme on their respective institutions for its great advantages and benefits to them.
The meeting was attended by the Applied Science University (ASU)'s representative Dr. Tariq Al-Sharaf, the Talal Bu Ghazaleh University College's representative Khuzaima Al-Gallad, the Kingdom Universeity's representative Dr. Bishr Mohammed Lutfi, the Ahlia University's representative Dr. Mansour Al-Ali, the Kingdom University for Women's representative Parsa Ziqaqi, the Arab Open University's representative Lulua ABdullah, the Bahrain University College's representative Dr. Adel Al-Hmood, the BIBF's representative Lumia Ibrahim, the Arabian Gulf University (AGU)'s representataive Dr. Khalaf Hassan and both Dr. Amin al-Milligi and Ms. Allen as representatives from AMA International University.
