Al-Salam Bridge re-opened for trial operation
Al-Salam Bridge re-opened

Transport Ministry announced on Monday a trial operation for Al Salam Bridge under the supervision of the Armed Forces, security apparatuses and the Suez Canal Authority.
In statements, head of the Road and Bridges Authority Adel Turk said the bridge was re-operated only on direction coming from Sinai, while the other direction would continue to be closed due to renovation works.
He added that Transport Minister Saad el Gioushi directed to renovate and open the bridge as soon as possible in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens travelling to Sinai.
