Algerian Social Solidarity Minister Mohamed Al Ghazi denied on Sunday that the Algerian government has put additional conditions to bring Egyptian workers into the Algerian labor market.
The minister, in a meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Algeria Omar Ali Abu Aish in the Algerian capital, expressed appreciation for the role played by Egyptian workers in the Algerian labor market, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
He added that the Labor Ministry is committed to offer all necessary facilities for Egyptian workers.
The Egyptian diplomat called for signing a consular agreement between the two countries to be a reference to organize the conditions of the Egyptian workers there, the statement stressed.
He asserted that Egypt is keen on fostering bilateral relations with Algeria, especially economic ones.
The Egyptian diplomat said the Egyptian officials and their Algerian counterparts are taking the final steps to establish an Egyptian-Algerian business council with the aim of pumping Algerian investments in Egypt, the statement asserted.
