Minister of Youth Abdelkader Khomri intends to develop "a national policy for the youth" based on the results of the national consultations, which will be organized in the next few months, Khomri said Wednesday in Algiers.
Khomri said, in an interview with the APS, that a national policy for the youth will be developed by involving the different political players, associations, men of culture and information, the National Economic and Social Council (CNES) as well as the experts as part of the national consultation conference on youth, which be preceded by themed conferences.
The conference's results, which will be presented before the parliament, will be a reference to the various laws to promulgate in the youth sector.
With a view to support youth, particularly with the creation of jobs, Khomri said that his ministry will work in coordination with the different ministries, adding that the reduction of unemployment, which he dubbed an "issue", will be possible only through combined efforts, especially as Algeria has all the means to do so.
