Head of Algerian union of chambers of commerce Attia Belgherbi called on the Egyptian businessmen to invest in Algeria.
During a meeting for the Egyptian and Algerian commerce chambers, he asserted his country's keenness to invest in Egypt especially after steps to reform Egypt's economy in the last period.
He also pointed out that his country is interested in exporting from its eastern neighbors especially Egypt rather than the European countries.
The Algerian government is providing significant facilities to foreign investors including exemption from taxes or customs, he said, adding that the Algerian banks are also providing loans to the investors.
During the meeting, the Egyptian and Algerian businessmen reviewed means of fostering cooperation in crops, food industries and other fields.
