Two meetings for the Arab financial institutes and the Arab finance ministers began here Tuesday with the participation of several officials, including Kuwait's Finance Minister Anas al Saleh, according to KUNA news agency.
The agenda of the Arab financial institutions' meeting will focus on financial reports in 2014 as well as approving the financial closure for the fiscal year which ended on the 31st last December.
The meeting will follow up resolutions which came out at the Arab economic summit held in Riyadh in 2013.
On the other hand, the sixth annual Arab finance ministers' council meeting will focus on choosing the council's chairman and vice chairman, a report from the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) and an International Monetary Fund's (IMF) paper on improving efficiency at Arab tax institutions.
The ministerial meeting will include discussions on coordinating Arab actions and efforts at the IMF and the World Bank.
