
Commander of the Central Military Zone Ayman Amer and Fayyoum Governor Wael Makram opened a number of infrastructure projects in the neediest villages of Fayyoum.
The projects were carried out by the Armed Forces in the drainage, drinking water, roads, electricity and education fields upon directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the army to help the state fulfill the basic needs of citizens.
The army commander also inaugurated similar projects in the poorest villages of Menoufia, accompanied by Governor Hesham Abdel Baset.
The Armed Forces’ mission is not restricted to protecting the country’s borders but to help achieve development, Amer said.
Eighteen of the neediest villages in Menoufia, Qalubiya, Giza, Fayyoum, Beni Suef and Minya located within the vicinity of the Central Military Command have been listed for development by the army, he added.
