
Bahrain attended a workshop on export-oriented industrialcrafts in Marrakesh, Morocco.The Arab Women’s Organisation (AWO) and the Arab Industrial DevelopmentOrganization (AIDO) coordinated the three-day event which concluded lastWednesday (April30).Bahrain Centre for Women Development (Reyadat Centre) director Shada Rashid Al-Jalahma attended the workshop which updated AWO member states on developingthe standard of traditional crafts to have access to the Arab and internationalmarkets.The workshop is part of AWO-AIDO cooperation to set up a string of projects aimedat honing the skills and competences of Arab women.
