
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) board member and Chairman of the joint committee with Customs Affairs Abdul-Hakeem Al-Shammari has emphasized the chamber's keenness on devising prevention measures for trucks congestion on King Fahad Causeway.
"The issue has witnessed significant improvement as waiting time has been reduced and clearance procedures improved," Al-Shammari stressed. He affirmed the importance of taking measures to ensure the non-recurrence of the problem.
Al-Shammari paid tribute to the leaderships of both the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the measures taken to resolve the issue. He commended all the relevant authorities that have collaborated and contributed to smoothening follow of trucks and thus bolstering trade. He also confirmed the Chamber’s keenness on monitoring the issue, BCCI's Ayesha Salem reported.
