
Labour Undersecretary Sabah Salem Al-Dosari today chaired the meeting of the Joint Committee between the Labour Ministry and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and highlighted directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa on promoting trade and economic sectors in Bahrain.
Labour Undersecretary underscored commitment to bolster cooperation with the social partners to support training and employment prgrammes in the interest of development plans aim to reform the labour market and reinforce national manpower.
He stressed backing private sector's initiatives up targeting reinforcing existing partnership among production parties in the fields of training and employment of national jobseekers, promoting private sector's national manpower, improvement of performance and productivity, development of labour market and strengthening dialogue among national partners.
He noted Bahrainis 2 project, which seeks bolstering employment mechanisms to ensure suitable work opportunities for national jobseekers at reasonable wages.
The parties discussed private sector Labour law, application of Bahranisation policy in private sector companies, as well as providing further facilitations aim at strengthening the private sector's role in supporting Bahrain's development process.
