
The stage is set in Bahrain for hosting the 2014 Gulf Electricity Conference and Exhibition on 10-12 of current November under the patronage of Minister of State for Electricity and Water, the High Committee of 2014 Gulf Electricity Conference and Exhibition announced.
The tenth version of the Conference and Exhibition is organized by GCC Regional Committee for Electric Systems (GCC CIGRE). It will discuss the developments in the field of electric power, stimulating cooperation with specialized international agencies to boost efforts of scientific researches, exchange of expertise, researches and applications among Gulf electric power ministries and authorities.
The CIGRE Technical Committee has approved 60 papers from 20 countries to focus on the future of electricity sector in the Gulf.
More than 45 companies to participate in the exhibition that will be held on the sidelines of the Conference. It will provide the visitors with the latest international technologies, equipment and products of leading regional and international manufacturers.
