
Under the auspices of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the activities of the "2014 Invest In Bahrain" Forum/Exhibition will be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of a series of investment forums organised by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The event takes place on October 15 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) in the presence of GCC Chambers Federation's Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani.
The Chairman of Eastern Region's Chamber also VP of the GCC Chambers Federation Abdulrahman Al-Otaishan said that the forum is anticipated to attract numerous potential investment opportunities available in Bahrain which is considered one of the major international financial hubs thanks to the presence of many international companies.
He pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain has assumed a prestigious economic positon in the region thanks to the support and care from the Bahraini leadership regarding economic issues and the provision of opportunity to the private sector in order to carry out its role in the activities of the country's ongoing economic development.
He said that many participants have confirmed their participation at the forum, including the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the GCC Chambers Federation, the Economic Development Board (EDB), the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), "Tamkeen" the Labour Fund, the Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consultancy (GOIC), and the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding BSC Company (Mumtalakat).
Many promising opportunities will be showcased during the forum, expected to attract the participation of a large number of businessmen and businesswomen from Bahrain and other GCC-member countries.
