
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Mr. Arif Naqvi, Founder and Group Chief Executive of Abraaj Capital, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Crown Prince noted the role of financial and banking institutions in strengthening the economic status of the region, and highlighted the accomplishments of the institutions in Bahrain.
HRH Crown Prince praised Mr. Naqvi’s participation in various international events and forums, and his contributions towards highlighting the region’s economic and investment environment including the steady growth of businesses and financial institutions.
Mr. Naqvi expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted the prime options provided to the banking and financial sector by the Kingdom. Mr. Naqvi went on to highlight the Kingdom’s laws and regulations which have produced a resilient and progressive banking and financial sector.
