
Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, has received here Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Banna, Group Chief Executive Officer of Origin, a company which manages and organises conferences and seminars.
Al-Banna introduced to the Minister the President of the Institute of Administrative Development Peter Cheese.
The high-level delegation is in Bahrain to take part in the Seventh Regional Conference for Human Development.
The minister was informed about the activities and programmes of the Institute of Administrative Development and its future plans. Dr. Mirza praised the efforts of the Institute at the international level in the field of administrative development and other activities in this area.
The two sides also exchanged notes on how they could further co-operate in the file dof human resources development.
Mr. Al Banna and Mr. Cheese thanked the minister and officials of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) for the warm welcome and the hospitality.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Karim Habib, the minister’s Advisor for Technical and Engineering Affairs.
