
The Finance Ministry held a key workshop which focused on financial report writing.
The training scheme was attended by employees representing the Finance Ministry’, alongside other ministries and government departments.
"The event was the last function lined by the Ministry of Finance as part of its 2014 Training Plan, which included 37 workshops and training functions", Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information Ismael Abdulnabi Marhoun said.
Citing compiled figures, he said that more than 700 employees from different financial, administrative and accounting specialties took part in the training programme – 298 from the Finance Minister and 404 from other ministries and government departments.
The workshop stressed the importance of financial reports as an essential tool for the high management and decision-makers to plan, supervise, follow-up and evaluate.
