
Housing Minister Bassim bin Yaqoub Al-Hamer approved the general plan for Hamad Town's Block 1212 that includes 134 properties.
The blueprint defines the final boundaries of privately owned and government-owned properties, including 19 public service plots of land and the inclusion of 6 corners have been added in compliance with the Royal Decree of His Majesty the King regarding distribution of corners in residential areas to citizens free of charge after completion of field and technical studies.
The minister said that the general blueprint for Hamad Town's block 1212 included the introducing of two government-owned plots of land allocated for current and future public services, a location for building commercial shops, 4 plots of land for public gardens, walkways, one plot of land for rainwater drainage, 8 locations reserved as car parking lots, open space for denizens and also one plot of land for building a mosque on an estimated area of 797 square metres
