Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa hailed the setting up of a committee for the settlement of stalled real estate projects by royal decree 14 for 2015 as a positive step epitomizing the kingdom's keenness on addressing the issue according to the law.
He praised the substantial care accorded by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to the issue which helped map out visions and crucial steps to tackle it. He also underlined the key role played by the Ministerial Committee for Construction and Infrastructure, chaired by Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in this respect.
The committee, he explained, with judicial jurisdiction, has prerogatives stipulated in decree law 66 for 2014 enabling it to take measures to handle the issue according to the law.
