
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received here today a government and economic delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The delegation, led by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Dubai Economic Council Juma Al Majed, and the Governor of the Dubai World Financial Centre Ahmed bin Hameed Al Tayer, congratulated HRH Premier on his safe return to the kingdom following the successful medical check-ups he had undergone abroad.
HRH the Prime Minister expressed profound thanks and appreciation to the UAE for its kind fraternal gesture reflecting the distinguished and special feature of the brotherly bilateral relations, stressing that the visit, led by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, proves the social dimension of the Bahraini-UAE relations, and its impact in strengthening joint political and economic cooperation.
HRH Premier described the Bahraini-UAE relations as an advanced role model of bilateral ties, being deep-rooted and steadily progressing.
He reiterated Bahrain's love and appreciation of the UAE leadership and people, in light of the outstanding relations bonding the two countries, and the "honourable" stances of the UAE President, government and people towards the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that those stances will always be remembered by every Bahraini citizens.
HRH Premier lauded the fraternal bilateral relations, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and boosted by the two government's constant keenness to enhance them at all levels so as to reflect positively on the two brotherly peoples.
HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the UAE delegation the advanced level of joint relations, stressing the need to consolidate bilateral cooperation further.
Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan congratulated HRH Premier on his safe return, noting that the warm welcome accorded to him by crowds of citizens reflects his distinguished status among Bahrainis.
He lauded HRH Premier's crucial role in building up an advanced model of Bahraini-UAE relations, and expanding the horizons of cooperation among GCC countries.
He praised HRH Premier's milestone contributions to the renaissance march, witnessed by Bahrain.
