
Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Head of Bahraini side at the Bahraini-Saudi Joint Business Council, Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad, welcomed the Saudi side led by Chairman of Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otaishan, participating in the first meeting of the Council.
BCCI Chairman said the meeting aims to activate joint projects and expand economic and trade cooperation among Bahraini and Saudi business, trade and investment sectors.
He noted the solid historical relations bonding the two countries and their people, and the positive initiatives of Saudi and Bahraini Monarchs that have boosted cooperation in all fields.
He added that the council will play an active role in following up the implementation of joint projects, in addition to discussing ways to overcome obstacles could face investors and facilitating the flow of trade between the two countries.
He expressed optimism about the meeting to reach constructive outcomes to support investment opportunities and establishing partnerships.
